The Beginning

Stacey Fain and her daughter, Shian Roberts, started Stacey's Ice Cream Cruiser in 2016 after Stacey's lifelong goal of opening an ice cream shop became reality and also to help Shian through College. The truck was originally a bread delivery truck that needed a lot of TLC. After many hours of peeling off old stickers and cleaning, the journey began. The truck had a full wrap put on it and away it went to serve the community.

After Shian went off to college, the truck was still breathing but not as active. Shian received her Masters in Art and Education and moved back to Jackson to pursue teaching where she married her brother's childhood friend, Wes Roberts. After marriage, Wes and Shian decided to give the truck a revamp and take it to the next level. 

Today, Wes and Shian own and operate the truck with a passion. They've introduced ridiculously delicious new sundaes and are constantly adding new and seasonal items to the menu. The truck is more than a business to them, though. It's a fantastic way to connect with the local community that they never expected to be so fulfilling. Seeing the smiles on peoples faces when they are handed an ice cream cone let's them know they are doing something good in the world and keeps them going everyday with no plan in sight to ever do anything different.
